1.The queen in gold of O-phir At Thy right hand doth stand; King's daugh-ters are the wom-en Who fill Thy hon-ored band. The church in all her glo-ry Shall match her glo--rious King, And all the saints, the wom-en, Thy like-ness there shall bring.
2.O daugh-ter, now con-sid-er, E'en now in-cline thine ear: Re-mem-ber not thy peo-ple And all thine own things here. Thy beau-ty then shall blos-som— 'Twill be the King's de-sire; For He thy wor-thy Lord is, Thy wor-ship to in-spire.
3.The daugh-ter’s glo-rious gar-ments Are made of in-wrought gold With-in the in-ner pal-ace, How won-drous to be-hold The glo-ry of God’s na-ture Is giv-en her to wear, That all His ho-ly be-ing She may in life de-clare.
4.In cloth-ing too em-broi-dered She'll to the King be led, In that fine lin-en gar-ment To be ex-hi-bit-ed. 'Tis by the Spir-it's stitch-ing That Christ in us is wrought, And with this glo-rious gar-ment We'll to the King be brought.
5.What glad-ness and re-joi-cing When we the King shall see We'll shout His wor-thy prais-es Through all e-ter-ni-ty. And though the King we wor-ship Or glo-ry in the Queen, In all this blest en-joy-ment The glo-ry goes to Him.
